7 Witches

A quiet threshold where the unsaid takes root.
The body multiplies, fragments, and persists.

7 Witches is a contemporary mixed-media and sculptural series by Susana Uvidia that deepens the exploration of home as a body in transit. Following the somatic burdens investigated in Never Fully Free and Carrying Home, this body of work moves from the weight of physical displacement toward the internal alchemy of survival. The figures emerge as spectral anchors, collective echoes of resilience that defy institutional erasure and reclaim the body as a sovereign, unyielding territory.
