Susana Uvidia- Visual Artist
Susana Uvidia is an Ecuadorian artist based in London. She earned her BA and MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Her work explores migration, mestizo identity, and memory, using abstraction and cultural symbolism to navigate themes of loss, transformation, and belonging. Through colour and texture, she creates spaces that challenge perceptions of home and resilience.
Uvidia has received numerous awards, including a commission from Clifford Chance for their London Head Office, the XIX Prize in Ceramics from the Council of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food of Madrid, and the XI Salón de Abril from the Riobamba Cultural Centre. Her work has been exhibited internationally in the United Kingdom, Spain, Ecuador, Chile, and Belgium.
